More than a place to stay — discover another way of living, in peace and surrounded by nature.
Originally from Belgium, Olivier made the radical and inspiring choice to leave everything behind and build a self-sufficient farm in the heart of rural Mayenne.
For more than 10 years he has been developing this project on 2 hectares in Saint-Mars-sur-la-Futaie, without heavy machinery or chemicals. Every decision follows one simple principle: grow what you eat, eat what you grow.
Today he welcomes travellers who want to soak up this philosophy, share a few hours or a few days in this preserved world, and leave with a fresh perspective on our relationship with nature and food.
"Imagine waking up to birdsong, surrounded by greenery at the edge of the forest."

From dawn to dusk the farm grows, makes and shares. Every dinner served at the table tells that story.
Apples, pears, cherries and plums. The homemade apple juice is a breakfast must.
Seasonal vegetables grown in permaculture. Guests who wish to are welcome to pick straight from the garden.
Artisan honey available to buy. The bees also play a key role in pollinating the farm.
Hens, ducks and other small animals. Fresh eggs can be enjoyed at breakfast on request.
Jams, preserves and artisan charcuterie. Everything is made on site so nothing goes to waste.
Small-batch homemade wines — a convivial touch to share around the dinner table.
Every meal is a celebration of the farm. Everything comes from the garden, the orchard, the apiary or the coop — nothing chemical, nothing industrial.
Dinner is served by reservation. The cowhide-leather lounge on the ground floor is the place to enjoy a drink by the wood fire, read, or simply chat.
Help feed the animals, pick fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden.
Bucolic trails through meadows and woods, straight from the farm. Maps and leaflets available.
A family theme park 26 km away. Perfect for children.
At Chenedet, 30 minutes away. Outdoor thrills for all ages.
